Euflexxa

What is Euflexxa? And what is it used for?

Euflexxa is a synthetic version of hyaluronan, a viscous and elastic substance naturally present in synovial joint fluid. Euflexxa can help ease the symptoms of Osteoarthritis (OA) in various joints including the knee, hip and shoulder.

How it is administered?

Euflexxa is an injection administered under CT guidance into the affected joint, in a series of three injections spaced 1-2 weeks apart.

What you need to bring

All that is required for the procedure is your referral and your presence.  Wearing loose-fitting clothing is recommended for ease, and occasionally you may be asked to change into a gown.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, you will need three appointments spaced a week or two apart. Please call us here to make an appointment, or if you have any questions.
